The University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing (IHC) is a collaboration between three institutions: University of Maryland College Park (UMCP), University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB), and the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS). Each institution brings unique expertise in technical support, ensuring that users receive the most appropriate assistance for their needs.

UMB/UMMS Employees:
If a UMB/UMMS IT technician is not onsite at the IHC and help is needed, please email help@som.umaryland.edu or call the SOM IT Help Desk at 410-706-3998 as your first step in seeking assistance. Most IT issues at the IHC can be resolved remotely by this team.

Ernest Turner and David Garris are IT representatives that are available onsite at the IHC office space every Tuesday, alternating shifts on a rotating schedule.
