Sharing your Screen Wirelessly in Conference Room A

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for setting up and hosting meetings in Conference Room A. This room is equipped with advanced audio and video capabilities that are controlled from an in room tablet and a dedicated computer. Follow these steps to ensure you are able to successfully share your screen in the conference room.

Sharing your Screen Wirelessly does not provide access to integrated microphones or cameras within the space. Users will be required to use their laptops microphone and video camera.

1. Setting Up the Room

1.1 Arrive Early

  • Arrive at the conference room 5-10 minutes before the meeting starts to allow time for setup.

1.2 Power on the Room Equipment

  1. Locate and wake up the conference room tablet:

    • There is a dedicated tablet that manages the conference room audio and video capabilities within the space

    • The tablet is to the left of the mounted TV monitor on the inside wall. Wake the tablet up by tapping the touch screen.

      • To detach the tablet from the charging mount on the wall, tap the Detach Button located on the bottom navigation control list. It looks like a ▲ (triangle) with a line under it. Once it moves away from the wall, grab the tablet and pull it towards you off the mount.

    • To share use the conference space with the dedicated local computer, please click the box labeled “ClickShare” (image below).

2. Start Sharing your Screen

  1. Click the Quick Settings/Control Center Icon 1569043.webp on the top right of your device.

  2. Click the “Screen Mirroring” option rtaImage.jpeg

  3. Select AMB-8298237A as the device you want to share your screen to.

  4. Enter the four digit verification code displayed on the conference room display under the iOS/macOS section.

  5. You can use this as a duplicate (sharing your current) screen or as an extended (a second) screen.

2.2 For Windows devices 2993661_brand_brands_logo_logos_microsoft_icon.png

  1. Press Windows Key images.png + K on your device’s keyboard.

  2. Select AMB-8298237A as the device you want to share your screen to.

  3. Windows Key images.png + P, To use this as a duplicate (sharing your current) screen or as an extended (a second) screen.

3. End the Meeting

  1. Stop sharing your screen.

  2. Shutdown the Room Equipment:

    • Click the “Shutdown“ button on the tablet and then click the “End Meeting“ button on it.

    • Place/Dock the Tablet back in the area it was detached from.

  3. Clean Up:

    • Ensure the conference room is left clean and organized.

    • Remove any materials or personal items.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Common Issues

  • No Audio: Check volume levels on the tablet and computer.

  • No Video: Verify that the correct display device is selected screen you are mirroring to.
